Day 14 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge and as promised, here is my second post of the day. Today’s post was a writing challenge where I had to write a short story using the phrase ” “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” which was penned by Hemingway. The story length couldn’t be more than 3 paragraphs and it had to be definitive. Here is my take and I hope that you enjoy it. And hey….go ahead and challenge yourself while you’re at it. She had already resolved to forgive him, but the universe had conspired against that probability. It was the first time that she’d seen him so vulnerable, so repentant. It was almost enough to make her forget how his hands probably touched her in the way that she knew so well. She remembered his confession and how he promised that it meant nothing to him.
